GLTU & LCB Brunei-China International Tourism Talent Training Center launched a 5-day Online Study Tours Project from 19th to 23rd July, 2021. 32 students from GLTU in total participated in this activity.This project consists of courses such as Brunei culture, Southeast Asian Tourism and Analysis of Current Situation, Overview of Brunei Tourism Talents, International Communication, Innovative Thinking and English Writing, etc.
The teachers from Brunei delivered every course in detail; every student participated actively in class interaction and benefited a lot. Let’s have a look at what they said after having participated in this project:
In the past 5-day online course, I learnt about the culture of Brunei and other Southeast Asian countries, improved my English writing skills and cultivated the sense of innovation and creativity. The most important thing is that I learnt about how to carry out cross-cultural communication to promote the development of ASEAN tourism.

After completion of the Online Study Tours Project, all students have obtained the certificate issued by Laksamana College of Business. The year of 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brunei. This certificate is of great significance to students for their future professional development.
GLTU & LCB Brunei-China International Tourism Talent Training Center will continue to carry out academic activities beneficial to Chinese and Brunei scholars and students in the near future.
